Character: Mammon, Avatar of Greed
Canon: Obey me!: Lesson 40
Age: Never specified, but he's over thousands of years old (He's probably more over 5000 which is the drinking age in the celestial realm) and looks to be in his late teens- early 20s.
Background Information:
Background: https://obeymewiki.com/wiki/Mammon
Brief Lesson summaries: https://obeymewiki.com/wiki/Lesson_Summaries
(if you would like more information I can provide)
Personality:
* The first thing you'll noticed about Mammon is, he's greedy af. He's the avatar of Greed so more often than not his first thoughts will be how to make a profit off of something, or how it'll benefit him. Unfortunately because of this, he often gets in trouble with his family and other people on the outside of their family. Going into debt because of greedy witches using him, charging too much to his credit card, and many many painful nights being strung up to the ceiling by Lucifer as punishment.
* Mammon is the second oldest brother in a group of seven brothers. And as the second oldest, he tries to get his younger brothers to listen to and respect him, but instead he is often teased and bullied, pretty much their own personal punching bag. He can be quite immature which is one of the big factors of why his younger brothers don't show him much respect.
* Along with trying to get their respect, he is also very protective of his brothers, even when his brothers are mad at each other. There has been a few times in the story where Mammon has noticed small little things that seem to be off for his brothers and realized something was wrong with them. And other times where he would take the fall for them. In a chat, their eldest brother Lucifer was upset about an expensive painting being broken. Mammon claimed it was him who broke it, but it was found out later that his youngest brother accidently knocked into it when he was half asleep and Mammon decided to take the wrath of Lucifer himself.
* For a lack of a better word, he is absolutely a tsundere. This is shown with both his brothers and the MC of the story. He can never be honest with his feelings and tries to play things off. Even when the truth slips out, he turns into a flustered mess and tries to back pedal away from it. There was a time in the story where one of his younger brothers, Leviathan, had borrowed a bangle that makes the wearer speak only the truth and he slipped it onto Mammon. Of course Leviathan had to tease him with it, and got Mammon to admit how much he cared for and respected their eldest brother.
* He's a act first or talk first, think later sort of guy. His actions are very impulsive and despite him being able to come up with plans on the fly, he doesn't think everything through, which is one of the big reasons he gets into so much trouble with his brother Lucifer. His plans are usually schemes to steal expensive stuff Lucifer or his other brothers have around the house and because he can't be patient and think things through fully, he is always caught.
* Despite his impulsiveness though, and all of his faults, he is the one brother that Lucifer would deem as trustworthy. Unlike his other brothers who can't seem to keep control of their demon sides, Mammon is the one that keeps a cool head. This is one of the reasons Lucifer makes Mammon the keeper of the MC. Because out of all of their brothers, he knows Mammon was trustworthy when it really counted.
* When they lost the war in the celestial realm, Mammon was the first one at Lucifer's side, ready to fall into the devildom with him. He encouraged Lucifer and stuck by him through their roughest moments. He helped pick Lucifer back up onto his feet. Despite all the stealing and problems that Mammon might cause Lucifer and the rest of the family, Mammon is very loyal to him and that's why Lucifer trusts Mammon so much.
* Out of him and his brothers, Mammon is the only one who can really stand up to Lucifer and tell him when he's being too harsh with the others, or take the brunt of his anger to ease what his brothers have to put up with.
* Mammon is being reapped into the game and he'll be keeping his memories of his precious stay, but from the last time he was in the game, things didn't really change much for him. He made friends that he grew attached to, like Zelda (botw) and Angel Dust (Hazbin hotel) and got varying level of crushes on others as well, Angel Dust being one he really grew to like, but also small passing crushes like Venti (Genshin Impact). He got close with Angel Dust, but not really close to his other crushes, and gave Angel a place to stay when he was having a rough time with handling things. Other than this, he didn't really have anything big and changing.
Abilities & Inventory: Being the Avatar of Greed, Mammon kind of has a luck thing going on where if he really likes someone, they can be blessed with good fortune and if he dislikes them, they'll be cursed with bad fortune. He also has some inhuman strength since he's a demon. Also he is incredibly fast, said to be even faster than his eldest brother Lucifer and the prince of the devildom, Diavolo.
As for inventory, if possible he'll have on him a car key to a car he can't use because it's home. So completely useless. His wallet There's no money in it, but maybe a family picture he hides because he's a big tsun. Also his D.D.D. (His world's version of a phone.)
Suitability & Plans: I think mammon would be a good fit for this game because in his series he's already used to weird things happening all the time. There are demons everywhere with big magical powers, and often they get transported to new places because of magic, or because of cursed objects and him and his family always have to solve the problems before they can come back home. He'd be used to being thrown into another world type of scenario.
As for plans I want to see if I can put him in a scenario where he can gain love and appreciation from others. In his family he's usually the one that gets bullied and picked on. So it might be fun to see how he would be with strangers and if he could get some positive reactions out of them or if they'll also follow the path of his family.
With him coming back, I really want to do something with his Luck skills. Even if it's just for silly shenanigans. Because his usually powers are pretty luck based based on his feelings so working that into things here really sounds fun to me.
