[ Their sleep schedules are more or less complete opposites. He knows he can't sneak into Mammon's room at midnight -- Mammon will be awake, and he's not giving his gifts to him in person. It's different when they're all giving their brothers gifts on their birthdays, so it's embarrassing when it's just him.

Early in the morning, around 6am or 7am, he puts his stealth skills to use, listening to make sure he doesn't hear Mammon before he leaves his bedroom. Nope, no Mammon here. Good.

He has some time, so before he sneaks into Mammon's room, he spends some time in the kitchen. He bakes a cake first, since he wasn't about to bake it last night when Mammon would know what he was doing. In fact, Satan did a very good job of pretending he had absolutely no idea Mammon's birthday was tomorrow -- well, today, now.

When the cake is finished, he checks to make sure that they have enough ingredients to make a good breakfast -- but he'll make it later, when Mammon is actually awake, so it doesn't go cold.

Preparations complete, he silently slips into Mammon's room. He places his gifts on Mammon's night stand: first, seven cute figures of the them and their brothers, which he lines up in a way so that they will hopefully creep Mammon out when he wakes up. There are two more figures as well: Lilith, which he had Certain Feelings about making at all, and their Sheep--er, human. Those go on the night stand, too, staring just as strongly.

Then, as if he doesn't expect Mammon to like what he made, he also sticks a black box behind the figures with a gold ribbon tied around it. Inside is a pair of gold earrings which, sure, Mammon has earrings already, but these are from Satan.

Mission accomplished, he slips out of Mammon's room as silently as he arrived, because he wouldn't be caught dead being nice to Mammon, no siree. ]
